CLASSIC ROCKERS FOGHAT AT THE DIAMOND CENTER.
Formed in 1971 when Lonesome Dave Peverett and Roger Earl left the British blues-rock band, Savory Brown, Foghat has earned eight Gold records, one Platinum record, and one Double-Platinum record. Their best-known single, “Slow Ride,” is a hit for multiple generations—from younger listeners who play Guitar Hero III, to the “Dazed and Confused” generation of those in their 30s and 40s, to the “boomers” who bought Foghat’s first vinyl or 8 track.
The music of Foghat is timeless and the energy of their live performances makes their shows entertaining for all ages. The band continues to tour throughout the year, citing their love of playing as the reason they won’t stop anytime soon. Recently, Foghat released “Under the Influence,” a new album that was three years in the making and includes a special recording of “Slow Ride” to celebrate the song’s 40th anniversary.
